II. CODE OF CONDUCT

A. Language. Any usage of malicious, rude, vulgar, profane, racist, sexist, ethnical, threatening, menacing, mutinous and otherwise disruptive language directed at anyone in the league via emails, message board posts, text messages, phone calls and other forms of communication will not be tolerated. Disciplinary action may include league expulsion.

B. Harassment. The act or routine of pestering other team owners in a persistent, relentless or chronic manner as a means to urge or force player trades or other actions will not be tolerated. Disciplinary action may include league expulsion.

C. Cheating. Disingenuous play will not be tolerated. Any suspicious activity should be reported privately to the Commissioner for investigation. Common forms of cheating may include, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Loopholes: Any underhanded attempt to undermine the Commissioner and the league by exploiting so-called unwritten rules. Anything undefined or unclear within the league rules should be addressed to the Commissioner before any action is taken by a team owner.

2. Collusion: The act of forming a bond, trust, partnership, union or a behind-the-scenes agreement with one or more team owners in an attempt to unfairly exchange players between teams.

3. Tanking: The willful act of sabotaging the outcome of a game by purposely starting injured or inactive players in order to lose a game, usually to gain a better draft position and/or helping another team owner for a postseason bid.

4. Fire Sale: The act of dumping star talent from one’s roster and intentionally replacing it with very inferior talent.

5. Team Abandonment: Desertion from properly managing a team on a week-to-week basis.

Disciplinary action for cheating will be decided on a case-by-case basis based on the nature of the infringement. The league will be polled on what actions to take, with the majority vote becoming the decisive penalty. Penalties may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: forfeiture of points, forfeiture of games, reversal of a trade or waiver wire claim, loss of player trading and/or waiver wire rights for the season, or league expulsion. All decisions will be final.
